Biography
A Voice Students Relate To
Yolanda Castile is a motivational speaker, former Texas Peace Officer, former middle school English Language Arts teacher, singer, songwriter, mother, and grandmother whose passion is helping young people become the best version of themselves they can.
Her experience in education, public service, family life, and the arts gives her a unique ability to connect with students while speaking about choices, consequences, confidence, resilience, leadership, and purpose. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Criminal Justice and spent several years teaching 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts.
Through Rise In Purpose, Yolanda shares messages designed to help students understand that setbacks do not have to become permanent labels. Her mission is to challenge students to learn from failure, take responsibility for their choices, build confidence, and move forward with purpose.
Outside of motivational speaking, she enjoys singing, traveling, spending time with family, and recording Christian music.
